Because the heat that is emitted from an underfloor heating system is  more evenly distributed than a wall hung radiator, the system is able to use water at a lower temperature. This translates to a more cost effective and efficient way of heating your home

UFH is generally associated with engineered wooden floors or stone and ceramic tiled floors. You can however use carpets perfectly well with underfloor heating systems. The density of the carpet will affect the efficiency of the system so this can be advised by you underfloor heating professional.
